Christmas Party 2016

The Peninsula Hong Kong has been sponsoring the Christmas party of Make-A-Wish Hong Kong for 14 consecutive years. The real Santa Claus came all the way from Finland to celebrate Christmas with over 100 Wish Families and volunteers. The party was kicked-off with an interactive magic show and face paintings for our Wish Children, followed by a terrific contact juggling performance. While everyone was enjoying the gourmet lunch, Santa quietly turned up to surprise us! All the little ones were obsessed with the Santa’s life stories and little secrets that he shared. They showed their appreciation by sending Santa their blessings on Christmas cards. Special thanks to Santa for leading the Bingo game and lucky draw, and giving each Wish Child a Christmas present before the party ended.

Trees of Hope

Co-organized by The Peninsula Hong Kong and Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, the annual Christmas fundraising campaign – “Trees of Hope”, “Teas of Hope” and “Cocktails of Hope” – was in its 13th year. Proceeds generated from the charity sales of SnowPage plush toys, Christmas glass ornament and gingerbread cookie sets, plus the afternoon tea sets and festive cocktails were donated to Make-A-Wish Hong Kong.
