Wish Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Service Officer, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to the following areas:

 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning and execution of wishes
• 
Collect and track all required wish paperwork
• 
Maintain wish statistics for report purposes
• 
Enter wish information into database and monitors data quality
• 
Maintain files on wish-granter volunteers
• 
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or suitable experience in social service/ public health or related disciplines
• 
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• 
Demonstrated ease when interacting with varying personalities
• 
Excellent communication skills, in Chinese and English, both verbal and written
• 
Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint – experience with database management a plus
• 
Flexible to work some evenings and weekends as required (you will be compensated with time off in lieu)
• 
Occasional travel is required

(Assistant) Fundraising Manager

We are now looking for an experienced fundraising professional to join MAWHK team. This role reports to the Executive Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute overall fundraising strategy and programs to achieve the KPIs
  • Maintain an up-to-date work plan, donation record and donor database
  • Conduct donor segmentation and analysis
  • Maintain current relationships and nurture new relationships with corporates, foundations and the government
  • Prepare appealing proposals for potential donors
  • Plan and execute corporate events including but not limited to charity sales programs and volunteer activities
  • Promote our work and help establish desirable brand imagery among key stakeholders
  • Outreach to donors and attend networking events
  • Liaise and coordinate with MAWI on international partnerships
  • Evaluate programs for continuous improvements
  • Support ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • University degree with 4-5 years of experience in fundraising for NGOs, or PR, marketing or sales disciplines in other fields. Candidates with less experience, will be considered as Assistant Fundraising Manager
  • Passionate in children charity’s work
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and a good team player
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and take responsibility
  • A good storyteller. Well-organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Chinese and English
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management
  • Flexible to work some nights, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Immediate availability preferred
