Isaac was still a F.4 student when he was diagnosed with cancer. Even though he went through a difficult treatment journey, his passion for learning meteorology and geography has never wavered. To fulfilling Wishes for Wish Children, the Wish Team also designs unique Wish Anticipation activities for each child, ensuring they are excited and ready for their Wish Day!

This time, we specially arranged for Wish Child Isaac, who is passionate about meteorology and geography, to meet with Mr Lam Chiu Ying. Through sharing insights from his past work at the Observatory , discussing environmental concepts , and imparting valuable life lessons , he gave Isaac a priceless experience and heightened his anticipation for the Wish Day!

The Wish Team and the Hong Kong Observatory therefore arranged a special tour just for Isaac! In addition to trying his hand at being a weather forecaster , the representative from the Observatory took him on a tour of the rarely opened ”Central Forecasting Office,“ explaining the daily work of the scientific officers and the procedures during storm events, which greatly broadened his horizons! Let’s check out the behind-the-scene of Isaac‘s visit and his sharing after having his Wish come true!
