Lightning McQueen Never Gives Up, and I Won’t Either!

Heison, an outgoing little boy with a warm personality, was sadly diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2. During his battle with the illness, in addition to the love and care of his family, he also found inspiration from the Disney·Pixar animated movie “Cars”. Seeing how Lightning McQueen persevered and won races through sheer determination in the movie, Heison was determined to overcome his own illness, just like McQueen, and never give up.

After recovering, Heison wished to meet his “fellow warrior,” Lightning McQueen, to celebrate his victory in this life challenge. The Wish Team then collaborated with Hong Kong Disneyland to arrange for Heison to meet McQueen at the resort. Hong Kong Champion Racecar Driver Jonathan Hui, over 400 Wish Families from Hong Kong and Macau, and volunteer friends all came to witness Heison’s wish come true.
