Pak Lam Became a little Fireman and Completed a Cat Rescue Mission

This Christmas is probably one of Pak Lam’s most unforgettable ones! Pak Lam finally realized his Wish of becoming a fireman and experienced different works of firemen!

With excitement, Pak Lam donned his fireman uniform and participated in a series of activities thoughtfully arranged by Sham Tseng Fire Station cum Ambulance Department, Fire Services Department. Activities like morning roll calls, learning basic drill etiquette and commands, touring the fire station’s equipment, riding on a fire appliance , and simulating firefighting under the guidance of firefighters, became precious memories of Pak Lam and his family.

Understanding Pak Lam’s admiration of the bravery of firemen in animal rescue, the Wish Team and firemen from Sham Tseng Fire Station arranged a special mission for Pak Lam to climb onto the aerial rescue platform for a simulated rescue of a trapped cat doll with a special announcement “Special service, rescuing animals”.  Every part of the Wish Day lets Pak Lam and his family, who had been fighting hard against cancer, believe in turning the impossible possible. Pak Lam’s mum also shared that ‘ This wish has given the courage to persist during Pak Lam’s treatment. We believe that this wish is able to giving them hope and strength to face future challenges!
