I wish to go to Macau

The Wish Empowers Mom to Arrange More Outings for Sick Daughter
Wishes not only help children with critical illnesses regain hope but also empower the family with strength and confidence. This was the case for Cho Kiu’s mom. Since Cho Kiu lost her sight and mobility due to her illness, her mom rarely took her out. However, after connecting with the Wish Team, her mom leveraged our support to take Cho Kiu on a short trip to Macau, allowing her to experience new things during the journey.
With special arrangements from TurboJET, Cho Kiu and her family comfortably embarked on their journey to Macau. Andaz Macau also thoughtfully prepared an accessible room for them, giving them peace of mind to enjoy the trip. Cho Kiu visited several famous attractions in Macau and even rode a cable car for the first time, creating beautiful memories with her family.
This journey not only allowed Cho Kiu to explore the world and try new things but, more importantly, empowered her mom to have the confidence to arrange more outings for Cho Kiu, enhancing her quality of life and creating more unforgettable memories together.
Behind the Wish: Volunteer’s Support
Cho Kiu’s wish was made possible with the support of volunteer, Chak. Throughout the entire journey, not only did he help the child and her family, but he was also deeply inspired. Chak shared:
“I am glad to assist the family in enjoying a joyful trip, which encouraged Cho Kiu’s mother to take her out more, improving her quality of life and bringing a brighter future for the family. I realized that being a caregiver is never easy, but the child can always feel her mother’s love and unconditional dedication.
Throughout the journey, many caring hosts provided significant help and treated the family with kindness – it touches me a lot. Being able to help a child with critical illness is a very special experience for me, and it becomes nourishment for my service to other Wish Children.”
