A Wish that Motivates Christopher to Pursue His Dream

Christopher, a passionate young boy who loves music, has previously learned piano, violin, and guitar, but the instrument he is most fascinated with is the drums. Before he was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, he had encountered the cajon (box drum) at church, which sparked his interest in drumming. In his free time, he would jam with his friends in a band. However, during his illness, Christopher had to be hospitalized for treatment and had no choice but to temporarily put this interest aside.

After his recovery, Christopher finally had the time and energy to pick up the drumsticks again! He made a Wish to have an electronic drum set, so that he could practice properly. The Wish Team reached out to Christopher’s favorite band drummer to present him with a pair of drumsticks autographed by the drummer, to encourage him to continue pursuing his dream! Christopher is currently studying physiotherapy in the UK, and we hope that this Wish will not only help him cultivate his interest but also motivate him to work hard in his studies, so that he can help more people in need in the future.
