A fan be a friend of Winnie the Pooh

“I love Winnie the Pooh especially of his pure, positive and energetic character.” In 2005, the lovely cartoon character gave little Gladys a beacon of hope and joy during her endless medical treatment. “I feel trapped in the hospital. I thought it would be so great if there was a friend like Winnie the Pooh being with me all the time,” says Gladys. Caught her wish the Wish Team decided to send the little fan to her hero, with a little touch of surprise and magic.

“It was like I was being with him forever, only Winnie the Pooh and me!” On the Wish Day, Gladys met with her hero alone whom the cartoon character gave her a big hug and presented her a little Winnie the Pooh. The ambassador from the Disneyland smiled to Gladys and said, “Winnie the Pooh can be with you from now on, isn’t it?”

The little plush toy has been with Gladys all these years. “I shared my story to other children patients, and also the happiness that I gained on Wish Day. They were happy and smiled too! And I realized that I might be able to make other happy like Winnie the Pooh!” Gladys said.
